Let it Snow!

Let it snow! In North Carolina, in Washington DC, in New York. Just don't send it to Florida please...

The weather in Florida is consistently wonderful. We have an occasional streak of rain (this December has been very wet) and the odd hurricane now and then, but for the most part the weather here is delightful. It's so good that we take it for granted. Only in Florida will you hear people complain when the temperature drops below 50 or when it rains more than two d
ays a week. We Floridians are indeed spoiled!

The storm system moving up the east coast made me think of a Christmas card we made a few years ago. After two hours on the beach one Saturday morning, we came up with this:

I thought this was quite cute and original but it seems we're not the only people to build snowmen on the beach.

Like building snowmen but hate the cold? You'll enjoy this:

That sure looks like fun! I wouldn't mind doing that some winter, for sure... as I sit here with temps in the teens!
Carry on! LOL
Blessings~

What a great idea!
I think this week might be a head to the beach with a carrot and build us a sand/snowman :-)

Merry Christmas to you too!

This is a great blog you have here. I have a humor blog as well which I hope will bring laughter to people around the world. Life is hard enough. I was wondering if we could do a link exchange. Please let me know if this is possible.

Sincerely,
Jason

You know, I've seen all kinds of cool sand sculptures (and made plenty of castles over many a summer), but never once thought about making a snowman with sand. Maybe it's because I grew up in the north and we just used the "real stuff". Fun post!
