Home Sweet Home


This is it - our home for the next 3 months. She's a beauty for sure - 49 feet of sculpted aluminum, paint, and teak and she looks pretty smart for an 18 year old boat. In the last 10 years alone we've traveled over 30,000 sea miles, visited 3 continents, and crossed the Atlantic three times (see right side of blog for a link to recent sailing adventures). This spring, "Robinleigh" is due a little TLC.

Since we'll be living on the boat while we're working on it, we've added the big white awning for extra shade and sun protection. When the temperatures unexpectedly heated
up this past weekend to over 90 degrees, we also added one more piece of crucial equipment below deck:




At least I'll be sanding and varnishing in 68 degree air conditioned luxury. When things heat up later this spring, I may never leave the boat...

I can't live without AC! I couldn't imagine you on a boat for 3 months without it. So glad to hear you have it!
