So my best buddy said to me - "Who drinks out of normal sized mugs and glasses?". I thought about it and realized that she drinks out of a 48 ounce, double insulated tumbler for most of the day and I, myself, have a favorite mug that looks more like a soup bowl than a coffee cup. Obviously there is a demand for a bigger coaster to accommodate our bigger mugs and glasses but can it be done? I tried to think of a BIG critter that would be fitting of a BIG coaster...
So, as you can see it is possible to make a larger coaster. But will it really make a difference? See for yourself:

I love the giraffe! And, it is the perfect size for my huge glasses. When will he get posted on Etsy?

What a great idea! Tons of bigger animals out there to hold our big cups. I too, have a 'soup bowl'. :) Maybe you could look back into the 'extinct animal era'. A tyrannosaurus rex or a woolly mammoth would be SO cool! :)
